School breaks are a time to slow down and reset the mind and body, but they are also a time to stay in shape and get ahead of the pack.

P3PE Schoolhouse aka The Barn is a training site in East Falls that supplies

Coach Cassandra Cunningham and Coach Mike Irwin offer flexible training sessions at the barn throughout the summer and winter off-season for student-athletes in high school and college.
The schoolhouse has a structured training curriculum for student-athletes looking to stay in shape while allowing them the freedom to travel, attend summer school, or hold a part-time job.
Each training session is 90 minutes and will include band work, mobility exercises, drill work on the erg, and training workouts.
This is the perfect way to stay connected to the erg, improve your stamina, and meet new people from the Philadelphia area while you maintain your fitness over break.

Our instructors will guide you through steady-state rowing, helping you maintain proper form throughout extended sessions to ensure effective, injury-free training. You'll use Concept 2 Indoor Rowers, known for their reliability and performance while working at a consistent pace to improve your aerobic capacity.
In addition to rowing, the series incorporates endurance training on the Concept 2 BikeErg, offering a low-impact option to build strength and conditioning.
Each session includes a warm-up, extended rowing workout, and a cool down, with instruction focused on pacing, breathing, and technique. This series is ideal for intermediate to advanced participants looking to improve endurance and overall fitness.
