client testimonials

  • I approached P3PE and Cassandra Cunningham at the end of my junior year, with the hopes of rowing at the collegiate level. Basically, I was decent for a high school rower but not ready for college-level performance. I also had no idea where I wanted to go. Through monthly virtual one-on-one sessions, I was able to improve my 2k time and identify a college that would be a good fit academically, socially, and as a rower. Cassandra helped me set my goals, prepared a personalized training, plan which shaved 20 seconds off my 2k time, and she helped me through the process of reaching out to coaches of different, helping me write emails, and basically helping me get their attention. By staying consistent through my workouts with the goal of getting faster in mind, I learned a lot about how far I could push myself. This not only strengthened my body but my mind as well. I was accountable to Cassandra, but I was the one responsible for doing the work. I ultimately signed with Temple University, and it is the perfect fit for me! Cassandra isn't afraid to tell you the truth and will work with you to get your desired results. Not only is she a great coach but she's an awesome friend. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone who wants to improve themselves.

  • Coach Cass has undoubtedly changed the course of my rowing career. She taught me how to train and build fitness and develop myself as an athlete first, then rower. Through the P3PE Summer + Winter training programs, I developed a healthy relationship with hard work on the erg and an overall positive mindset and approach to the world of rowing. I looked forward to every session because I always walked away in a good headspace with a solid amount of work and improvement done. I continue to look forward to the opportunity to push myself further than I thought possible because of these sessions. And those days where I didn’t feel like I improved, because we all have those days, Coach Cass provided a solid reminder that progress isn’t linear. The P3PE experience at the barn quickly went from a training program, to a second home. I am forever grateful to have been exposed to her guidance and coaching, and cannot wait to continue learning from her and the people she has introduced me to. — Zara Taylor, Silver in US Women’s Eight U19 2025 World Rowing Champs/Headed to Duke

  • Training with Coach Cunningham gave me direction I didn’t realize I was missing. There’s accountability, but also clarity. The expectations are clear, the feedback is honest, and the progress is real. What stands out most is how individualized everything is. Nothing is generic. Every session is built around exactly what needs to be improved, whether that’s technique, endurance, or mindset. There’s a balance of pushing hard while still feeling supported.

  • I started working with P3PE and Coach Cunningham during my sophomore year when I realized I wasn’t progressing the way I wanted to. I was putting in the work, but I didn’t really understand how to train. Through consistent 1:1 sessions, everything started to shift. I became more focused, my technique improved, and I started seeing real changes in my performance, especially on the erg.

What made the biggest difference was the mindset piece. Coach Cass helped me stop overthinking everything. There were definitely tough days, but she always brought it back to the bigger picture and helped me stay on track. I now feel like I have a system that works for me, and that’s something I didn’t have before.

  • Before working with Coach Cunnigham, I was inconsistent and honestly in my own head a lot. One bad day would throw everything off. She helped reframe that completely. Progress became about patterns, not perfection. Over time, I got stronger, faster, and a lot more confident in how I show up. There’s a level of trust in my training now that wasn’t there before.
